First blog post.

Hi. This is my first blog post. I doubt anybody will be reading it, or anything else i might write for that matter.

Nonetheless, I’m just a person with worries and personal concerns that I have decided would be nice to share with the world just in case someone might be feeling the same. What I’m mostly interested in is to share the outlook I have on life which I feel doesn’t really agree with what’s being projected these days. I believe for the most part we’ve lost our inner meaning, we’re more concerned about what seems to be than what is. What we seem like we feel. Who we seem to be. We’re fixated on the iconic, on the image that goes out, more than what’s happening within.

Also, I feel that our everyday lives have got us stuck. Stuck in this belief that our society is our reality, but it’s not. Our T.V’s, our computers, our houses, our cafeterias and clubs, our cars, are nothing but tools that have been given to us under the obligation of our current community. They are the items that in 100 years time will be the topic of history lessons in the future. They do not hold the essence of our being. Our being comes from our well being, our determination to grow and to achieve greater things, to help others and ourselves, to learn and to achieve. Our dreams on what goes on beyond the cement walls , our thoughts, our questions, our curiosity.

But not much is done for promoting this type of thinking. On the contrary, at my age (age 21) people often get mocked by “not living life to the fullest” by “drinking and partying all night”. So this is my first shot at reaching out for others like-minded.

I hope it goes well. And I hope my first try wasn’t too bad or confusing.

For a first blog post this is just way too perfect. Wow. Especially this: “They are the items that in 100 years time will be the topic of history lessons in the future. They do not hold the essence of our being. Our being comes from our well being, our determination to grow and to achieve greater things, to help others and ourselves, to learn and to achieve. Haha, thanks Jay ❤ Yeah, that was actually inspired from my cousin, we were talking about a specific haircut and she was like, 'the historians of the future will track back to this haircut and realize that this is why our civilization went downhill'.😂😂 So yeah, can't take full credit for it. But nonetheless, thanks ❤
